I was told to receive the appeal decision by Friday (6/10), but I didn't get nothing. Anyone know what the heck is going on?
Should I sign off the release agreement then?

My case was delayed but no overturn, received an email on 9th June for reject. Delayed doesn't necessarily mean good, HR is slow that's all.
the only case I know of that got delayed past the first date, ended up an overturn. So delayed is good if you want to win.
I'd take the package and go. The one demand I would have is to remove my name from the 'do not rehire' list, mostly so that any employers doing checks will not find this.
I just want to know how many unresolved cases are still out there, and was it because HR is "too busy" or is really doing the "investigation".
June 15 is what I hear, like everything at intel, behind commitment no matter how easy duh
Good luck
But you really want to come back to the sinking ship?
Maybe your case is tough one. The HR person who handles your case hesitated to turn you down immediately; so she consulted her managers and your managers, which caused some delay. You can expect her to come back with a firm resolution. She is going to tell you what your manager says about you and why you deserve SSL 4 or 5. You'll then start realizing many things you do not realize before.
Any way, wish you luck. Keep us posted no matter what.
