Are people, apart from the ones laid off, planning to leave? How is the sentiment?
How many people in total were laid off?
Is there really no job security at Intel these days? Were any new hires terminated?
Need information to plan things as I'm interviewing for a position. Any help is appreciated.

Morale is high as we're sure we'll get all the critical projects once management find out other Geos have lost critical talent and can't recruit top talent.

Morale is low everywhere ... Unless you've been hiding under a rock.
I returned from Bang recently, its not as bad as in Oregon
@nlj - Don't be so sure. Low cost geos are getting impacted as well. Morale may not be as low as in the US, but things are still bad nonetheless.
BA is safe, moral is high, new hires come on board every week.
SC/FM/OR/AZ/CO/NC not, moral is low, hiring freezes, etc etc.
