I work in 11x, morale is horrible. Is the fab going to be shut down?

I'll add on.
-tumble weeds and goat head stickers in your foot
-Second class is too high for 11x engineers. These 3rd rate engineers are too stupid to understand basic water systems. Took over a year to fix a problem that any plumber could have repaired in a day.
-There were a few good people in that fab who were overwhelmed by an incredible amount of buffoons, thugs and idiots. The technically good techs and engineers were swept under by a wave of stupid.

F11x and NM have been a lagging fab after 852 as everyone left to go to other higher performing sites
I VSP'd out of NM CS for F11X. MANY MORE also left. The shifts are so thin they cannot possibly maintain 24/7 readiness anymore. Run to fail, let it all go to hell, no more service level agreement to the fab. An entire shift for gasses/chems had NO techs on shift recently.
Nobody cares.
I'd say it's done by middle of next year, followed by a year or two of shutdown or primping and polishing for the next company. Who wants a worn out fab?
Lots of non fab folks were layed off or asked to move to AZ a couple of weeks ago. If layed off they are gone next week. If you agree to move you have until December or their gone. They're getting people out of there.
Cfh, that trade did work out rather well for fab 11x. But she was personally selected by her existing boss for that position. So you're stuck.
Yeah, it's getting shutdown. And you can take back that worthless POS Anita from amhs fab 11.. she came to Arizona and doesn't even have a clue. She is single handed destroying Arizona.. we will help her pack.
Word is that it's when, not if... analysts saying there's no use for the fab (e.g. http://www.bizjournals.com/albuquerque/news/2016/04/20/intel-sets-date-to-determine-site-closures-report.html) ...most likely the when is either end of year or another 6-12 mos. out from there

Yes there was a thread on here a few weeks back that talked about eyewitness accounts of Ann taking a bunch of suits on tour through the buildings.
It surely will shut down, but the question is when. Rumors are that's it's for sale and there seems to be some evidence that this is true. If an opportunity to jump ship to another site presents itself, you should consider doing so.
