Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Asked to return to replace boss

Wow Follett. You must be desperate. You are asking me to come back to replace my old boss. You probably want to have me do his workload at my pay. Thought you were on a hiring freeze?

However, I responded as eloquently and professionally as possible letting them know I can't trust their intentions and hopefully they understood my respectful decline.

I said I will consider the offer once the current senior leadership has been removed

Best of luck to you!! Follett must be realizing what they have lost.. but too late. Congrats to you for sticking to your convictions and your professionalism. Better things will be ahead. Sometimes whatever package they present is never good enough.

Congratulations on being true to your convictions and expressing them in a way that says, "umm no, I have more pride and respect for myself than your offer of a dead-end job could ever supplant." KUDOS TO YOU EX!

Great response. Professional and direct. This senior management should be replaced as soon as possible.
