You should all stop commenting and worrying about what safety and DOT are doing and move on with your lives. Nobody gives a f--- what you think. Really , they know about as much DOT Compliance as the DOT Coordinators , just bullshitting there way thru.
They were non existent then and now--butt sitters never out in the field!
