Intel you can't have your cake and eat it. You either have to up your game on stock and bonuses or stick with your diversity hiring.

Grade 7: 120~140
Grade 8: 135~170
Grade 9: 150~210
Grade 10: 230~350 (exec level, equation changes drastically)
Grade 11+: No first hand data.
Grade 8 here, 5 years after phd (does that make me "senior"?), at 190k total comp (just base is pointless to look at). This is in OR mind you.
$130k is median for grade 8 (base salary)
I disagree. You should be at Grade 7 after 5yrs at Intel. If you have been out of school for 10yrs, $200K should be in the cards. If not at least close to it. Grade 7 after 10yrs probably ok, but most likely you will be at Grade 9+ after 10yrs. If not you probably fired.

Ok, 200k for grade 6/7 is not going to happen. If you can find this salary outside Intel - good for you. Perhaps Google or Facebook. Grade 7 is basically a Phd just out of school.
The market rate for engineers at semiconductor firms at this level is not 200k - not just at Intel.

That's a really vague term. What grade are you talking about?

There is not a single engineer at grade 7 in Intel that makes $200k. Look at the pay tool you tool.
Grade 8 is not senior engineer overpaid fool
I know some grade 7's that are making $200K+. I would think its standard for anyone grade 8 and above to be making that much.
If not I'd send your resume out, you could get way more from another company.
Grade 8 or higher can easily make 200k+ TCOMP. If you're making less, maybe you suck.
