Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

If there is a good move you can count on Whole Foods not to make it.

The whole body regionals in the RM region f'ed up every Christmas order last year and two of them made Regional All-Stars. Whole Foods is tanking because they fired the "soul" of the company when they let all the long timers go. Brilliant ideas like spending 5000 bucks for a photo booth we used maybe a month. The whole coffee to grocery then back to speciality fiasco. Ten years with this company and it was great up until 2 years ago. Mackey is a joke. 365 is too little too late. Used to be folks would go to WF because the employees knew their stuff. Now it's a store full of part time newbies with headphones that won't look you in the eye. Morale in our store is terrible. I'm sure they would love to let my high paid assgo but it takes over a year to train someone to do my job and I got em by the short ones. I detest this company now but I still do a good job because I have pride in myself. In closing, If there is a good move you can count on WF not to make it.

Some regional idiot spent like $10,000 on a high-maintenance makeup analysis photo tool. It was a combination hardware/software/printer "solution." The problem was that it took up an ENTIRE endcap and couldn't be left unattended because kids would play with it etc. Ultimately it was essentially junked. Whoever made the decision to buy this was probably someone's main squeeze because oddly enough, this person quit soon after making this purchase decision. The same thing happened with this horribly ugly cake case. The regional person bought this expensive, ugly case, it was ultimately junked, and no one could be held accountable because the person had conveniently quit. Notice the pattern?
