Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Bank of America is not the only Bank who is cutting jobs

Chase is also starting to introduce a new improved version of ATMs, they are located in lobbies...The other day I was talking to my teller and I asked her if she liked the new machine. She was looking at the with a puzzled look and she told me that they are cool and that she liked the big screen. "Colors are really sharp she said" - oh, how clueless she was. She has no clue that her ticket to the unemployment line is being printed like right now by the same ATM machine.

She has 6 months left at best, they are testing it now, they will channel customers to it, run some tests, scenarios, model outcomes and wield the axe once they are ready.

Chase is a horrible place to work. This site is quiet but go see the Indeed page comments before they are deleted or the site. Chase sucks.com. All the comments written are examples of the things that go on there also. Just stay away for your own sake.

HAHA.. that's funny. I remember BAC talking about the virtual Teller at the ATMs now. I believe the technology was webcam and mic. So.. maybe the remaining tellers will have a job being video jockeys servicing people of all regions from one location or maybe from home... MyWork Tellers...? Or.. outsourced to other countries to do the job since it does not have to be located in any particular place... Am I giving to many ideas? SSShhhh !!!!
