The government had the booths packed and ready to deliver. Chevron, the new boss in particular Nigel Hearne, wanted CVX project management on it. So we unpacked them and put then in a non waterproof container. They get ruined. Then we dropped them in the ocean. Then at the last minute Chevron asks the government to ship lol. You can't make this up!

Amazing. I heard these same comments over my career multiple times by Chevron Staff employees in both management and influencer roles. Don't rock the boat and ruin it for the rest of us. You just need to milk it like the rest of us.......It is a cancer within the company. You can't get rid of it. This company is in for some hard times ahead.
Why the hell is it Chevron's responsibility to provide voting booths in the first place. There is plenty to fault Chevron over, but this isn't one of them.
It was just as well they dropped the voting booths. The whole idea is ridiculous. If any of those workers actually want to vote, they can do it by other means. Or the state can install voting booths. Chevron should not get involved. This is just another example of an idiotic Union wasting time and money for no reason other than to look useful. The sooner Australia drives unions out of existence the better.

Now we know why Chevron is bleeding cash and not making any profit, causing them to continue cutting out the useless "dead wood" as they call it on this site more than neccessary. Why would I quit? Of course I know I am part of the biggest loosing Team in the oil patch. But I am stealing my paycheck. I work 20 hours a week. 2-3 hour lunches. I am accountable for nothing....from Goodfellows.....FVCK you pay me. Also the voting machine debacle was a near miss fatality. Very close near miss to hittung a guy when it was dropped. Lol at why don't I or others that know this place is incompetent quit.....I will milk them dry, get paid to sleep and eat at work.
