I called COBRA today and they had no visibility on how or when the 6 Month/$9k option payout works. Thanks!

the $9k is paid out similar to the variable separation pay... within 30 days of your term date. i would expect it about a month after you leave. you do need to enroll in cobra, which i assume you've done.
Thanks for the link I looked at that previously. It unfortunately does not answer how the $9k payout is handled and when. Any ideas, appreciate it?
