2400? I am top craft and bring home about 1k a week plus ot. I'm glad you get 30 hours of OT but that is not realistic for 99% of us, 1200 would be closer to average. And I actually got a job while on strike and didn't lose a penny.
Top craft lost $1800+. Look at ALL tables.
Bottom line, is that the Union bought the giveback back in lost wages.

And try and remember the only reason you have any of the benefits you currently have is because of the union members who sacrificed before you were even on the job

@1ksg.....in case you were unaware, we were being forced to work 72 hour weeks for pretty much 6 months straight prior to the strike. That's equivalent to approximately $3,500.00 per week. I was using $2,500 as a low end number, as some members had work restrictions for family, stress, fatigue and injuries. No problem with the math, the amount of the direct deposit every week doesn't lie. A loss is a loss and we indeed did lose, no matter how you may try to spin it.
Your math is way off. Top tech pay is $1600 a week for 40 hours. Where is the other $900 coming from? Overtime? That is not guaranteed.
Many enjoyed the time off, my time will always be more valuable then their money. When I need them more then they need me, it's all over.
