Americans work abroad too. Plenty of Americans that would love to leave America if they could. Without Intel paying their business paid travel, most of these Intel employees 😄 can't even visit another destination. It is a bit deal for them to go to Hawaii .. so they call it as having gone OVERSEAS 😄Or going to Mexico is the most their international travel is.
However these same 1amers want to talk about other countries and their culture on layoff.com 😄 based on documentaries or media propaganda against a country they watched on tv. Likewise I've seen plenty of documentaries on beggars/homeless/gun trotting Americans/ drugs/sex presenting America in bad light too.

Xbk here. I don't even have a bachelor's degree and doing way better than h1bs with masters. I have been forced to lead those miserable souls in the past as well. I don't need certificates because I have the abilities which you h1bs lack. You h1bs think getting a certificate makes the world owe you a lifetime job while performing poorly.
True, companies are not run for employees. They are run for shareholders and for management.
Intel has to reduce labor cost, all the other stuff is distraction. As a investor I would love h1b, better yet more output and less people.

I meant they would not survive in meritocracy in my previous post.
They are not talented even after getting masters degree from us universities. I have worked with them. They just do bare minimum to survive and that's what they did to get through university with parents funding. They can't learn new rhings quickly and solve problems that they haven't been shown how to solve. They don't work hard and take shortcuts or delay avoiding problems. Working with such competent h1bs made me look incompetent. These people would survive in meritocracy. Unfortunately American corporate culture has gone downhill and is now mostly rampant with corporate politics. These h1bs would be educated unemployed people in their own country and we shouldn't worry about competing with them. Erica companies need to stop destroying middle class here.
But most of these h1bs are future citizens of this country. They are directly contrubuting to the growth of USA now and will in the future.
So it's not a problem for USA as a country. It's only a problem for those who live here but can't keep up with the competition.
If you merely deport them, their talent wont disappear from the universe. They will in fact contribute to our competitor nations.
Dont act like the ostrich who thinks there is no storm becuse it stucks its head inside a pile and merely cant see whats happening around.
Instead, learn some useful skills.
