I've heard both, but I've been hearing less about 6/22 so didn't know if anyone could give rumors if it's been moved out to July.

I read in a prior post on this site there are July layoffs. Not sure about 1st and 3rd Wednesday being "layoff dates" since 6/22 is actually the 4th Wed of the month. We can all agree they do use Wednesday but I haven't seen a trend with a specific timing yet.
Don't know if it is big, but yes 6/22 is valid, my boss is being severed on that day also first and third Wednesdays are layoff dates at the bank
