In a recent post (in the thread regarding Gro-Body NorCal grocery/whole body mergers) somebody states that WFM (I assume recently) bought an online vitamin retailer. Does anybody have more info on this?

Don't be surprised that Whole Foods kept it quiet that it has been planning for years to pull away from selling supplements in store.

The acquisition was announced a year a half ago at a WB TL meeting we had about a year and a had ago. At least that was the first i had heard of it.
We want more info
Correct
WFM did not buy a online vitamin retailer, WFM Online did purchase one. The reason no one knows about it, is because WFM Online is a private entity separate from WFM. The website is mynaturalmarket.com I believe...
Yeah, that is what I thought, too, when I read it.
That post was in error. Kroger bought Vitacost two years ago. If WFM were to buy an online vitamin retailer it would have been all over The Wall Street Journal etc.
