I was let go as part of the ITC ROM, project Alpha. For the folks who survived it, how are things, are they back to normal or is there still a lot of cost cutting going on ?

Who is "Rice Gibbs"? Is that referring to the Lindsey Graham impersonator that used to be in ETC TC? Giant douche nozzle if you ask me. Part of the reason ETC wasted so much money.

CPL is not a shthole, @1rbv. Pipeline is Chevron's midstream business and one of the safest places to be in O&G at anytime. Whether oil prices are high or low, it needs to be transported. Pipeline transportation is the cheapest and most reliable mode to get oil from production fields to the refineries and to the market end users. The OPCO is small and everyone working here is on a first-name basis. The work environment is more relaxed and informal than upstream or downstream OPCOs. I'll take this do-called "shthole" over any other place. I doubt you work at CPL, because if you did, you wouldn't be calling it that.

In my department morale is bad, everyone is waiting for the announcement of Alpha ROM 2. When people ask the managers about the ROM 2, they respond with there is no Alpha ROM 2 in the planning for later this year. If anyone in ITC thinks there will not be an Alpha ROM 2 later in in 2016, they are living in the clouds. Bring it on Bill....
