Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

The Horrible Mistake at the Heart of the Halliburton-Baker Hughes Deal. http://fortune.com/2016/05/03/halliburton-baker-hughes-deal/

"...from the start, the Baker Hughes acquisition looked certain to face a pretty steep anti-trust hurdle. Yet, Halliburton’s executives agreed to a $3.5 billion break fee with no exemption from paying the fee if the deal was blocked by regulators. How much did Comcast pay Time Warner Cable when that deal was called off? Zip. Nada. That should make Halliburton shareholders rethink their confidence in company executives’ judgement and ability to negotiate."

Kek...Good point however the fact that he told Jeff to sit down and shut up is not really saying much. I think this happens on a daily basis from just about everyone that has to deal with Jeff.

This deal was about ego to a large degree and final hurahh for Big Dave to end his 16 year tenure at Halliburton on with a mega-merger. This is a man who can quite disrespectful tell his President (Miller) at HalAcademy to sit down this is all about me. A man who can spend $5m on 2015 HalAcademy when it was heavily questioned and say "this event will take place as long as I'm in charge". Well, 2016 isn't happening now so does that mean he will leave. This is a man who has bobble head characters of himself made up to give out during HalAcademy 2015. Is there no end to the egos at the top of Halliburton. Time for every shareholder and major investor to vote for total change to this company. Better yet, for GE to make a hostile takeover attempt, walk them out like they did everyone else who got laid-off and show them how to run a business.
