"Should not throw stones", 4mnn. It's "stones", not rocks. We should not throw frying pans either, but that's beside the point.
The total disregard for the innocent is aggravating. For you all to keep tearing everyone in sight just because your own lives have not added to much is no excuse for your stupidity, arrogance and scapegoating. Take some responsibility for your decisions and why each of you is in your current position. Those who luv ed in glass houses should not throw rocks.
Why you so sensitive about bribery accusations? Did the other poster hit a little too close for comfort?
What's with the all caps illiterates on this thread?
NONSENSE COMMWNTS ABOU BRIBERY DESERVES CAPITAL RESPONSE. THAT COMMENT IS AN ATTACK ON ME AND I WON T TOLERATE IT
Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the Mumbai Call Center PGPA contingent.
I think those all caps posters honestly don't have a clue about internet etiquette and do not post often on any sites or even care about such things. They are typically older folks who did not grow up with PCs, having to type, and resent having to use them. In my earlier work years in the 80s & 90's I had to deal with a lot of them.
2jtg: please tell us what Chevron is all about.
Quit shouting, 2jtg. It's rude.
HdiZUIk-1oob ... WOW, YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT CHEVRON IS ALL ABOUT AND HOW MUCH IT STICKS TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS .... GO HOUND ANOTHER COMPANY WITH YOUR NONSENSE THEORIES ... WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING YOU WRITE ABOUT CHEVRON .
Maybe he was the bag man to pay the bribes for Chevron's Africa operations.
He must have been in the "Friends and Family" program to get the original job.
I never thought we needed this person anyway. Kind of strange why we'd replace one board member whose claim to fame was running Coca Cola's Africa business with a someone who had exactly the same background. I thought we wanted diverse experiences on the board.
Alexander B. Cummings has been a director at Chevron since December 2014. He served on the audit committee.
Independent directors aren't management.
Nothing fishy at all, lots of people want to walk away from $372K in free money just to show up to a few board meetings and rubber stamp whatever Watson wants.
Seems to be some politics at play here. Wonder if he supported Watson or opposed him.
