Los Angeles Campus Closing Student Housing

Two of my students shared with me today those residing in housing have been notified via email they must move out by December 2016. Campus housing is no longer available in LA. I do wonder what will happen to these students who rely on campus housing. But wonder more the day we actually close the doors. Obviously not 3 years from now as I've been told, considering how quickly other teach out campuses have reduced staff.

Shhhh don't screw up Hoser's plans to steal LA students so that he can artificially grow Hollywood and save his job (and his condo and his luxury car lease)!

I am an adjunct at LA, and I am warning students not to accept the transfer option - to drop out before they are slaves to debt for the rest of their lives. This is so wrong, and I know my job is going to be cut soon. All I can do is leave with a clean conscious - knowing that I did everything I could to tell students the truth about this company. I don't have another job lined up, but anything has to be better than this. It is gut wretching.

Due to the expense of the teach out (it has turned out to be 3-4 times more expensive than originally planned) the LA students are going to be methodically transferred to the Hollywood campus. They can't force the students to transfer, but by doing things like closing housing or offer very limited classes students cannot take they can, in a way give, students very little choice but to transfer. This has been ongoing for a while, the plan is for the first big push to happen in summer. Hollywood is expecting nearly 10% of LAs population by then.
