Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

So that fancy new expensive building and shop in Oklahoma City that they continued building after laying tons of us workers off; is it occupied?

So that fancy new expensive building and shop in Oklahoma City that they continued building after laying tons of us workers off; is it occupied? Or did they scrap that million $ plus building after they finished it!!??? Would have been nice to keep people working instead of building that!!

The money to build it was captured before the downturn and it was almost done by 2015. They havnt moved to it because of the merger and the downturn. It has nothing to do with layoffs

You have no idea what your talking about. That project is "contracted" years ahead of any downturn/layoff. They have to complete what is in the contract. But anything additional can be put on hold l, and it is on hold.
