14 people confirmed. All fitters,stores and office staff again. No management getting paid off l!! Again unbelievable. That's about 50% of the bedlington workforce paid off and still no managers gone. Another 10 people have left voluntary to go to new jobs since xmas .It now looks that bedlington getting wrapped to move all the manifold building and stores back to Gateshead along with the Mickey Mouse management .

I think you'll find the manifold business is moving to gateshead along with the pipe and fittings side but the workforce will be laid off at that time gateshead has plenty of manifold builders there allready why would they need any more. But sshhh this is a secret.
The daily commute to gateshead is a rough one rush hour traffic on the way home every day lovely

We are all resigned to the fact that we will move to Gateshead now, the trouble is they have big issues too, a horrible situation but hopefully when we do go they will get rid of the woeful management that have just put their heads in the sand and sacked the decent workers just to save themselves!

Yeah it's Crazy at the moment just seen one of the mangers come out of the office for the first time in 2 years with the chair stuck to his arse . Now we have 3 managers to supervise 5 men , how does that work ??.
I've seen it all.. Managers driving forklifts trying to save their behinds to just be let go in about a month after they started working hard. Crazy.
Morale is at an all time low at bedlington at the minute, managers just trying to save themselves. Think we will be better off when we move to Gateshead.
Looks like i will be traveling down to Gateshead later in the year if things don,t pick up , that is what i heard today, if we don,t get any more orders, The GM said things have not improved so its another pay off the next one will be in 3 months or we will move to Gateshead. Can not see it improving myself?? but i know i am safe!!
