I am not sure what is trying to accomplish. We all know it has everything to do with your supervisor and the state of your relationship. That is an obvious point. However to expect that the greener lawn elsewhere is truly greener. Also worth noting, you can jump ship only so many times before you would t be consider for jobs because you are not stable. Back to my first sentence ... what is the point of this post?????????

No kidding, OP. You'll notice that with the kind of people on here defending Chevron no matter how little they know about different peoples circumstances. Ignorance and arrogance don't even come close.

@nrq, I kid you not when I tell you a coworker got caught doing that, not very far from his cubicle one late evening. Both of them were fired without fanfare. They were here one day and gone the next.
They are not my friend because they are my lover. I make love to my beautiful coworker 2 or 3 times a week, We like it because it's so sneaky. I have had my greatest clymaxxes right here in the office not that far from my cubicle. Chevron has been very very good to me!
And remember the oil patch saying "you are only as good as you were 5 minutes ago". Meaning they have a very short memory. What you did last year, no matter how good it was, not relevant. It's a "what have you done for me lately" mentality. <---That's 25 years of experience talking right there.
