Yes, Google "psychological profile of internet troll" and you will find out more about these mentally sick people who come on anonymous discussion boards such as this. The advice is to ignore them, because in their sick minds they perceive any feedback (even negative feedback) as confirmation of their self love or gratifying their sadistic tendencies. Truly deluded. Even more deluded thinking that they are winding people up or irritatiing them, The more you know about them the more you can ignore them or take the piss out of them. Anonymity is a two way street. Narcissistic, psychopathic, sadistic, Machiavellian. What ever, they will still be life's losers in the long run.

I read that Canadian study of troll behaviour the OP was referring to. Very interesting. The guy on here going on about Indians, curry and bums simply wants to disrupt the discussions, annoy people and get attention, even negative attention. You don't need any qualification to read someone's post and recognise them as racist, or a troll. As far as I can see the OP is simply ticking off the traits of a narcissist, psychopathy etc etc as that you are displaying by continuing to post here under your various guises. No qualification is required to diagnose a troll as one of life's misfits.
