If i knew back then what i know now .If i knew what went wrong and how .Id have 20-20 vision.
Nobody had anything to say 6 months ago when my wages were dropped by £6,000.Unfortunately I have bills to pay and £6,000 was a massive kick in the bollocks for me and my family.I do the overtime to try to make up the massive drop in my wages, and if that offends anybody then tough sh--.My family comes first. You say I don't know how you look at yourselves in the mirror,it's better than having to tell my family that we can't pay the mortgage this month. At the end of the day it is purely down to this management who have shafted us and lied to us from day one.If an overtime ban is brought in I will back it 100% as I always have backed my Union. All the name calling and backstabbing is ridiculous, and as for doing no work throughout the day so I can get overtime is an insult.
They,d have been told anyway, dont you worry about that
What a couple of retards authors of last 2 posts, fancy stating someone's views aired in a union meeting on a public forum.
If there are any scabs in the place it's you 2 you might aswell walked in the office and told them.
Well said tim yesterday in union meeting we all should stay together and not work the over time but u get scabs doing it look the lad on mtm hes in the union but still doing sat and sunday on a job that he does not do we have no balls that's why the management just walk all over us now is the time to stand ul and f--- nov off
Fair play big T mentioning it in union meeting, would,nt like to be in the trenches with these fkin.back stabbing bastards, working overtime in the current climate, just cannot get my head round it,what fkin.planet are you on you sad desperate bastards, you so need to change your
life style???
Overtime when there are jobs on the line should be a no.no. Any union member who does it is a scab in my eyes.
As far as how much redundancy you would get go off the government minimum.. 1 weeks pay £479? Per year worked & 1.5 X that for every year worked over 41... + 12 weeks pay working notice... Capped at 15k I think
Overtime is still being worked in the machine shop where 7 jobs are at risk unbelievable
You are wasting your time starting a new thread because of the the knobheads just look at the last couple of posts. Naming people is out of order
Can anybody tell me on here,is this normal to be told you,re possibly being made redundant,so you put all your plans on hold, hols, jobs on the house, new tv.etc etc and then 5 wks.ltr we still know as much as we did then?and to top it all,we,re given a cut off date for volountary redundancy,2 wks.ago, and we still dont even have a fookin.clue what we,re getting???WTF is going on,its an ab.shambles, but then again, that do we excpet, really???
Sounds just like every dept that then -watching football and sleeping. Tell me, is it just stores that do the overtime and no other deptartment?
Who is this lee from stores who likes to watch football all the time when hes in work and sleeping I bet he does over time as well the management are blind them in stores are taking the piss if they did the work in the week they would not need over time at week ends and people are calling rubber shop them lads keep the company going for years
So when are the volunteers going?
