So how do these managers sit there and talk to you like everything is ok when you talk about your new truck that you just bought knowing all the while that the fn shop is closing? Buddy buddy all the while your getting canned the very next day. You piece of p--p. What goes around comes around.

They were friends outside of work. Manager new shop was closing. New he was buying new truck with big payments. So he could have gave a heads up but didn't. Now stuck with payment.
I quit in April. I am a driller for a water well company and business is solid. I don't sit in an office so I was able to find work.
Pay is less, but I don;t worry.
Water is good business.
Well they aren't going to give you the heads up. You don't sound real smart. People getting laid off everyday.
Weatherford is full of toxic managers and conmen. The CEO just sits in the corner like a cockold fingering himself while the whole company goes under. Weatherford before the downturn was going broke even in good times. Audit the BD guys personal accounts. There is no way this company is in this bad of shape unless large sums of money were stolen by those in positions to do it.
I don't have to think too hard !!!! It would be easier to think of the good equipment !!

They just love it, too useless to be any good at their own job they love listening to folks dreams and futures while all the time laughing at them knowing they are going to screw them shortly. Extremely bad Management throughout the company is the reason they are all going down the pan before too long!!!! Look out UK you are next, all your cheating and moving figures about is going to come home to roost before too long. Your shoddy service and dodgy equipment will eventually sink you like a stone !!!

When I hired on into the oil field, I was told to save my money, because this is how sh-- goes down in the oilfield, and put things on credit at non oilfield wages. So if you make 150,000$ a year when times r good, spend like you earn 60 to 75,000$ a year, because that's how you get f---ed when the market crumbles.
