7 billion dollars in that, and still trying to barrow their way out of the hole. With no new capital in site. Regardless of how often top management try to convince us of brighter days ahead keep this if mind when it comes to cash flow all managers are still taking a bonus in the mist of furloughs and our CEO is the only person in the company with a pension that's worth upwards of 71 million dollars. So if Weatherford doesn't recover it's because top brass can't see past their greed to save this company. One Weatherford is a joke
Weatherford will probably start asking the customer to pay up front for the service !!!!!!
With suppliers starting to ask for payment upfront, we don't have enough cash to pay.
So when I need to purchase ancillary equipment to fabricate a skid system, it's becoming nearly impossible to get the drive motors, and gear boxes on order, because accounting can't get approvals to prepay. It's gotten to the point that I need to tell our sales guys to let their customers know there's going to be a delay to ship. So unless we get enough working capital, we are in serious trouble folks.
I forsee more layoffs very soon.
