Most of these strange locations are due to acquisitions made in the past.

Sorry to hear, but can someone explain toe the logic of that group there? Seems to be a strange place for an intel group, another example of poor management? Don't get me wrong itust suck to get closed but can't be efficient but why is that not a surprise with this company, LOL

Well we're living here in Allentown

And they're closing all the factories down

Out in Bethlehem they're killing time

Filling out forms

Standing in line

The affected staff will be relocated to Hillsboro and/or given separation packages. This affects only the iCDG group there - the mobile division. It doesn't apply to the former Avago group - they'll remain Allentown.

Was it announced, is it Avago or other groups?

Sympathies for all affected. Will some or all folks be moved to other sites?

I wonder if the Intel powers that be realize that closing an Intel office in a place like Allentown, PA comes with political implications...
