Did anyone else get their vacation pay check today ? I thought it would be the last check after finally being released. My last day on payroll is supposed to be 13 June. I'd have expected pay until then with the vacation payout later. I will contact them for clarification but was curious if anyone else was in the same boat.

For those employees who were on the payroll around 2000-2001 when the payroll system was changed to pay us on the 7th and 22nd, the company offered us a 1 week interest-free loan to bridge the gap in pay for the change that would take place. Most of us took the deal and we got paid for the 1 week gap. You should know that it will be deducted from your final paycheck. It was taken out of mine.
Zzy...I contacted them and it was an error. I am not a troll. While they changed my termination date to June 13 they also decided to recoup the early vacation payment through remaining payroll deductions, i.e. No more paycheck a until June 22nd at which time I hope (expect) I will receive a balance representative of what it should be had the termination date been correct. It was an error, inexcusable under the circumstances, but I will reserve final judgement until June.

For those residing in states with a smaller Chevron presence, the redeployment period can be shorter. My last day is also May 23 and the vacation pay was electronically deposited to my account.
That's a good observation. Unused vacation pay is received after you are terminated, not before. That's why I called out the OP as a troll.
if you are on the payroll until June 13th like all ESP "left standing" employees, why would you expect your vacation pay today ? it should be on the June 21th/22nd paycheck. You always get paid after you worked those hours not in advance.
What do you mean "assumed", you moron? Look at the pay stub below the check. Does it indicate any vacation hours in the itemized portion of the statement? I call you out as a troll.
I recieved a check today. I assume it is for vacation, because I also recieved a paycheck friday.
