I live in OR and got ISP.
I don't have any other reason to live in OR than my job (ex-job now).
so, now, BEFORE I get my severance pay, if I move across the river to WA, can I save on OR tax (by being a non-resident) for that money, which could save me thousands!
I think there's a clause for OR that says "even if you don't live here, if your work is based here, you have to pay taxes". But when I'm not working "what work?", and if they are talking about intel's address, it's technically Santa Clara right?
And here's one more TWIST:
Can I then apply for unemployment in WA (can not apply in OR in that case anyway)?
