Almost out the door... Long wondered if typical FLM can see the "who goes where, does what" info or if it takes extreme effort and cause to pry into those...

@rhg: of course they can, this is not your home or private life, it is company data. They can use it however they want to enforce their attendance policy.
No, they can't check unless they have good reason to. Privacy laws are very strict.
I was told that corporate services checks the log for all their employees, and emails managers the list of their employees that haven't badged into a building a minimum number of days. This is because CS has an official "no WFH" policy.
Machine learning algorithms will monitor these things in future
They don't have access to this info but they can definitely get it from the facility security folks. Just last year TMG in Oregon was able to produce a file with WWIDs showing arrival dates/time from badge scans. They used this information to intimated employees and instructed everyone to be at their desks from 8-5 daily as they would be "checking" on people. Folks who weren't showing up as badge scans learnt about being on the list due to their manager being contacted and informed. The funny thing is, after all the analysis was done there was really only a few people WFH. Most everyone was going to the fab or visiting another site to collaborate.
No need for this. HR will just tag all the 50 plus folks and issue SSL4 and the boot. End of story.
What about the productivity logs too? What apps are running, % of active windows, geographical location, etc...etc.....yes, everything you do as a virtual employee is profiled

Nope, takes uppers to request that info, and even then the 1st lvlv GL may not get to see it. Although lab managers (EE & NE) can request logs of their badge readers from sec. just for that lab though...
They certainly do have access to those information
FLM for 8+ years and SLM for another 4+. We don't get that info. I know MCM can if they ask like Steve Fund did.
