Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Submitting a SIM idea is stupid

It's funny to me that the managers are asking employees to submit ideas to streamline their jobs. I wish employees would realize when you submit a SIM idea you're basically SIMing your job offshore. Every time you hear the word automation means there's one less task for your group to do

The reason managers are asking people to submit SIM ideas for how to streamline their job i because the managers have no clue what their people are actually doing therefore they would have no idea on their own how to improve it. BAC has eliminated most of the managers who actually knew what they were doing at this point and now all they have left are the idiots who focused solely on protecting their own job and are now clueless. This is almost funny to watch except it isn't help the stock price and I am waiting to dump the rest of my shares.

The most telling lack of management was when we were advised it was mandatory that we submit a SIM idea!!!!

You don't need to be the best swimmer. You just need an insurance policy and if you're the experienced resource, resist any specific knowledge transfers, keep things at high-level or vague as much as possible, and stop being a team player because no one really cares. If you get laid off, you'll have the last laugh.

But if you're the best simmer you get to keep your job...eventually you will be the only one, then departments will be combined...and the process goes on.. Let's save the bank money so the shares will go up...I'm a former employee but I own shares..so get back to work and make me some money...$$$
