MESSAGE FROM THE AEROSPACE LEADERSHIP TEAM

Dear Colleague:

Honeywell continues to experience the effects of a slow-growth global economy, further compounded by a slowdown in certain Aerospace-related business segments. In addition, there have been more than 30,000 job reductions throughout the Aerospace and Defense industries in the last year, along with continued earnings volatility.

Although we are seeing growth in some parts of the business and have gained efficiencies through technology enhancements and improved execution, we continue to face significant headwinds that require us to further optimize our cost structure. While the actions we take are always difficult, unfortunately we have made the decision to implement a second quarter furlough and cancel our 2016 merit increase program.

Furlough

Aerospace will conduct an unpaid work shutdown, or furlough, in the United States and Puerto Rico as follows:

• All employees will be required to take one full work week of furlough as defined by payroll. The furlough will begin at 12 a.m. on June 27 and will run through 11:59 p.m. on July 3, 2016.

• HTSI, FM however, we will continue to consider additional actions to address the industry’s challenges. Your support will help us perform under these difficult circumstances and reallocate investment funding where it’s needed most – in support of sustainable, long-term growth.

In case you haven't figured it out already, "Honeywell don't need no stinking American workers".

That's why in the recent board elections un-Americans were elected to drive new jobs to "emerging nations" Like Mexico, China, and India.

Allied Signal, er, I mean Honeywell, is no longer an American company.

Just one word from executive management....."Software"........shhhh, they haven't figured out that Microsoft and Apple have already cornered the market.

I guess Honeywell used to be a great company. To meet the demands of the stock market and an ever growing team of money hungry executives they continue to reduce the staff that add value. Eventually, they will run the company into the ground. By then they will have more money than they can spend.

Is there anyone in Aerospace not looking to leave the company?

Everyone I talk to is trying to get out of Honeywell Aerospace as quickly as possible.

The worst is yet to come. Leadership will comeback and push everyone to work 7 days a week to make sure stockholders are happy and their impossed unrealistic goals are met. This happened in the last furlough in Dec 2015.Tim Mahoney wake up, Mike Madsen is destroying Aerospace along with His puppets who are mistreating people from all over the globe daily.Mike Stahl, Diane Cavouto the exhile of good exployees will continue to the point of no return....

Employer of choice? Most engineers I know gift the company with 5 to 10 hrs overtime per week. This is to compensate for being under staffed and over worked...yet dedicated to the cause. So in the balance sheet at corporate aerospace....happy to receive this cummulative freebee....employees are rewarded with pension reductions...furloughs...and no pay increases. Leadership will not retain talent...you will fail to meet shareholder expectations...and in some cases put the war fighter and our national security at risk due to executive greed. Open your eyes in this 'slow growth economy' to the long term aviability of young talent that won't tolerate these short sighted executive countermeasures. Need to lay some folks off? Do it! Stop making excuses to punish everyone.
