Get Ready AUO - PITTSBURGH

When some of you are tapped on the shoulder this week to leave based upon your higher salary they will offer you a severance based upon position and not one based upon tenure. If I were you I would start speaking to lawyers now about a possible lawsuit being AIO and Brown Mackie were offered severance packages based upon tenure.

Severance pay is NOT mandatory. Sorry to burst your bubble, but they don't have to pay you any severance. It is solely left to the discretion of the employer whether a severance pay is offered and what is included in the severance package.
