They will run in "waves" during the day. They are starting with the higher levels of leadership and working their way down. Layoffs are effective immediately, no two weeks notice.

What Campus is preforming the layoffs.
Are they laying off everybody who works there? Are they closing all locations?
Some of you being laidoff should go to the press with all the inside knowledge you have about how this corporation has ruined many people's financial futures. Also, how they have contributed to the economic bubble that will once again crash our economy. $1.3 trillion to be exact. You now have nothing to lose and more unsuspecting victims to save. Redemption!
If they wanted me to sign a nondisclosure agreement, I wouldn't do it. I'd go to the press with anything I knew.
What about the ill these unscrupulous and shameless recruiters from these schools did on innocent young financial lives! There are people in financial ruin without any chance to get ahead in life, because they were lied to by direct instructions from EDMC. Taste of their own medicine!
People wishing ill on others that will be looking for a job in the future are human waste. End yourself.

I hope most of the people being laid-off find it nearly impossible to find employment elsewhere with Ai/EDMC on their resume, just as many Ai alumni did! I wish all Ai faculty & staff nothing but the worst! You hear that knock? That's Karma at the door!

Argosy started their layoffs yesterday, so Ai is on deck today. Your benefits will cease on the 30th. You will receive a cobra payment for the month of July in one lump sum equivalent to what you already pay for you current health plan (use it how you desire). You will also receive a lump sum payment for however many years you worked at EDMC (3 years = 3 weeks of pay). Lastly, once you sign the acceptance letter for the severance, a company will assist you with resume writing and job search and they are very responsive. This is a good opportunity for everyone who is affected by the layoffs to start a business or move with a profession you truly enjoy. Many people on here have complained about EDMC and its leadership and their ethics. As a campus leader myself, I am relieved to be going and I will not be in career education anymore as you can see, most of the big for profit schools are being ripped apart. Be confident in your skill set, be a use your knowledge is transferable to other industries. Use the resume writing service to create several resumes for other sectors and get to searching as I suspect many have been doing already.
