Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Any update on most in-efficient group (MIG -- Mixed Signal IP group) within Intel?

Especially DDR PHY team which is > 160 employees compare to industry standard of max 25 people.

MIG is the most incompetent 'technical' team I know. They are expert in politicking, good in justifying why they can't deliver. Don't take my words for it, benchmark them against competition and u shall know

Intel is better off buying these commodity IPs from external

Worked a lot with MIG. I am always ALWAYS underwhelmed by their level of competency . What's worse is what they lack in competence , they make up in politics

LOL, when you don't compete with the world you can grow huge incompetent groups. Why is anyone surprised ?
