He is the info on AIFL so far this week . . . admin assistant to department directors position eliminated yesterday, as were 2 GE faculty, 1 culinary faculty, 6 admissions, and almost the entire Student Affairs team. Some rehires to newly created positions in next few weeks. Faculty away on break, not sure if more cuts to come when they return. Terrible that the previous boards under the control of Goldman Sachs gutted this company. AIFL was a jewel, nearly 50 years of success in south Florida with amazing graduates. Seems to be a slow death as great staff and faculty get cut every couple quarters and not real hopeful for the future. Heard Miami International had similar cuts. Know nothing about the other schools but AIFL was a joy to work at and be a part of. It was a pleasure. Good luck everyone.

Remember, the current president of AiFL was the president for 19 years of Heald College of which the parent company was Corinthian. That organization was indicted by the Feds for defrauding the students, went bankrupt, closed and has now had a judgement against it for $800 Billion. When this occurred, it was written in both the Huffington Post and the NY Times, that when Heald College president (now at AiFL) was saying good bye to the students and faculty she was crying that she had no idea what was happening, even after 19 years at the helm. EDMC hired her immediately to be the President of AiFL.
And you link the huffington post like it's a real news outlet. A fake news rag posting information about a fake college.
Once again, they fired the wrong people. The Academic team is who they should have axed....they are taking up space and not doing their jobs!!
Success my arse! These schools committed fraud and misled students into taking out a lifetime of debt for a worthless degree which they will never be able to pay back. Not one company even acknowledges these places as real schools let alone an the degree earned. The extremely high priced worthless tuition for classes that teach you online tutorials from Youtube that anyone can learn for free is a joke and a rip off.
