No, Clay is something that looked good when planning his escape. Pete knew exactly what he was doing when he bought Wilson Supply. He got the board to back his purchase of WS, showed he cared by suggesting what seemed a fair replacement and left to run NOW. This makes money hand over fist, sets up his retirement in days to come and allows one to put in place those who helped along the way or are FOPs.
