The short version is that the company is full of a--holes.
Senior execs at every tech company and system integrator with whom I've interviewed have a story about how they tried to work with people from Intel on some promising project or opportunity and basically gave up after being confused by how Intel operates, tired of dealing with endless meetings, disliked the arrogance and ignorance of the Intel people that they were dealing with...or a story about how they milked Intel for funding for a project that they wanted to do anyway.
They also long for the Intel of old.
Intel 'was' a very respected brand name. BKs reign of incompetence is definitely undo-ing what the founders had accomplished.

At companies I have interviewed the view is mixed.
But all those companies are "humble" and know that the path to success is to never become full of yourself and arrogant, LOL.
