TSMC is pulling ahead in the 10nm race. ARM dominates in smartphones. Apple and Google are hiring chip designers. IBM is targeting servers and China just built the worlds fastest supercomputer using their own Silicon. Intel just reduced headcount. Can you follow the breadcrumbs here?

x86 is so uncompelling in Tablet, Phone, IoT, dang any compute platform where you want power efficient performance the x86 sucks.
Don't believe the Moore's Law kool-aid. ARM is fundamentally better. Yes with each generation of Moore's Law architecture and the few million extra transistors needed for x86 become smaller and smaller % overhead, but really competitive with ARM?
There was a reason mobile lost billions paying people to use Intel chips in tablet/mobile, they SUCK.
Google uses intel in Servers and for their driverless cars but they are hiring thousand of chip designers as they see what competitive advantage Apple achieved, they will soon have their own custom more advance hardware accelerators that will make Altera purchase look more stupid than Contra revenue. They will also soon have custom ARM manufactured at TSMC too just like Apple
No Intel is sinking faster and faster lead by idiots at the top!
