A lot of sites in GER are small but some are quite strategic--Karlsruhe for example. Not sure how/why they could close those down, though maybe some get exceptions for being strategic. I did some comms work with a manager in Sophia last year--not sure they are big enough to have survived. I'm off the Intel network now so don't know, though I don't think they are publishing closures officially anywhere.
