PCs in free fall.

Expect more downsizing and more underutilized capacity. Did you see Intel already take deep cuts to capex this year?

We didn't forget.

If PCs continue to fall off a cliff there will be more empty fabs to come.

And yet the mgmt that made the decision to build a $4B bunker are still employed.

“Intel didn’t make a mistake, they just bet wrong,” said Will Strauss, president and principal analyst for Forward Concepts in Tempe.

What kind of BK-ish double speak is that? LOL!

Intel didn't make a mistake, they were just wrong???

I predict that Intel will never use this fab and never build another new fab again. Moore is over! One and done. 10nm is the last node.
