in oregon, signed agreement on early June, received the severance pay last week, but still no COBRA, anybody received the 9000 cobra?

I just spoke with HR. The 9k should be given within 6 weeks from when you enrolled in the 6-month Cobra plan. The money will be direct deposited into your account.
I was confirmed filing with cobra june 1, the HR rep at OCAC said if it didn't come in for me this last pay period, it should be either July 12th or the next pay period following the 12th, which I believe is the 15th of July. Its real if you signed the 6th month cobra package for ISP'ers. Well, I'll completely believe its real once the money is deposited, but according to OCAC it is coming.
I was hoping to get it today, but I did not. Now I'll hope for the 15th again. :(
I hadn't even got my VSP severance pay yet... Cobra is still in the process based on Intel Health Benefit. Not sure, why they do the processing really slow.
If you try to call Intel HR, please be ready to wait on the line for about 30 to 45 minutes. And the suck thing is that those people in Intel HR don't know anything when you ask them about VSP. I am just speechless.

No I haven't gotten it yet. If I remember right it had a pretty long time before it was expected, longer than the others. So I am not surprised.
There is no "$9K COBRA" OP. What are you talking about? You get $1500 for every full year of service. THEN they'll give people an additional ~$6 (single) or ~$12K (for those with others on their medical plan). Or, did you only have 6 years of service? That would equal $9K. Most that left Intel have way more years than that so didn't even consider anyone could have left after only 6 years. lol
