Just because you are CEO doesnt qualify you to lead Intel. just like most long form.managers at Intel you inherited this title and so far have failed miserably.
Bk, do the right thing for your current employees (whats left of them) and your current shareholders and resign. You are making matters much worse. Time to go. Your FOCAL should read Corrective Action Plan.

I totally agree with buddies with higher-ups and kissers are way of promotion culture currently practised inside intel.
Even if we're faltering in technology due to BK, what matters is that we lead in diversity. That'll bring up revenues to offset that vacuum of leadership
Management have lost their way long ago since Grove's departure. Culture of promotion today is based on buddies with higher ups, nothing to do with capability. Almost (not all but most) the whole hierarchy from top CEO to lower level management are all brown nosers and a kissers. The only reason Intel survived so long was due to Grove's leadership to corner the entire PC and server market with no competitor in sight. Looking at how MIT and IT keeps promoting folks who build their career through socializing, drinking, entertaining higher ups, ... I doubt much will change in Intel. Even in current layoff, there is no change in leadership in IT and MIT, still the same brown nosers and a kissers. I highly doubt Intel can transform itself. As long as DCG is printing $$ with its ridiculous pricing, the party carries on. But for how long more!
They are in it for money and ego, even though they aren't capable, in their own minds they are great, poor intel, LOL
