It's been a week and I haven't received my severance docs. I was told I would have it this week and it would be paid out July 8th...but if I haven't even received the docs I'm supposed to sign...any one have any insight?

I am also curious to see if anyone has had success negotiating. I am hesitant to sign the paperwork until I have a lawyer review it.

Wow what a nice response. I DID ask HR and guess what? As a former EDMC employee, I'm no longer a priority ..No call back. BTW, thanks for the support.
You'd be better off hiring a lawyer to negotiate your severance. Especially if you've worked there for years.
Talked to HR they will be sending out documents next week need to be signed by the 8th to go in our July 22 pay
Does this look like an HR office to you? Why don't you contact the HR rep at Edmc to answe your questions instead of random people on a forum.
