If AE stays at Intel that would be shocking. And it would be shocking that BK is willing to keep an underperforming exec just because it is good PR for Intel. What kind of respect can AE maintain at Intel if she stays?

The question is why do her reportees bring stuff to her for resolution always. Is it because they are not capable ?, not empowered to ?, unable to work together ?. The fact that after 4 years of her leadership that her leadership team is incapable of resolving issues without her is a testament to the poor leadership. Murthy needs to figure out if she has kept such a leadership team by intent or incompetence. A team that cannot resolve issues without her only ensures that she is irreplacable...or at least gives that impression.
Are we tightening?
She should have been perp walked on the spot a long time ago after losing Intel at least $10 billion on the mobile "effort". Alas, she's a protected species URM and will never leave Intel, even if the company itself crashes.

That is true about all of management, if they have to solve it you are in trouble. A more troubling question to ask, what if you bring truely innovative or radical thoughts do they listen? My personal experience they don't do it is always the same old thinking and same old solutions, nothing new or innovative at this company.
