I was thinking why would the best come to Intel. If you are a superstar coming out of a Tier1 school; MIT, Stanford etc. dang smart, well educated and you got Apple with Cook, Amazon with Bezo, Google/Alphabet with Larry / Sundar or even MS ( who is rocking again ) with Satya why on earth would you hitch yourself to Intel with BK?
The others have growing business, Intel is at the end, Moore's Law is ending, it is capital intensive and they are out of atoms. The core of design and software is being innovated and moving far faster at almost any other company you can name in the business, why do you stay? Is it just to hard to leave ( just be ware someday you may be among thousand at your site looking ), you are near retirement and only need another few years, frankly you are having fun and if it implodes tomorrow so what. Well if you are the later two good for you, if not should get out while you can before the next layoff!
