Townhall=no new info. If you want to do right by your employees cut to the chase and tell each B.U or Asset what amount they are being reduced by and get started. September is still too far away...what a joke.

I thought most groups already new the percent reduction. I don't understand why everyone needs to know every detail about the layoffs. 1,000 people will be laid off globally. You may be one of them. Is knowing the exact percentages going to change anything for you? Personally I thought the town hall did an ok job at discussing the company's financial strategy. The executives are looking at the bigger picture: cash flow, dividend sizing, whether to sell more stock, commodity prices in the long run, etc. Quit expecting everyone to care about your job, because guess what, no one does!

I think it's great!!! 6 paid weeks to look for work...
