The worst part is the interruption to everyone's life during this time every year. Contractor's are not being extended and the FTEs are sitting on pins and needles wondering what will happen to them.
Some people are hearing about another ER but others say no ER.
Bottom line, there is no telling what will happen. We can only hope they do it sooner rather than later.
I was let go in August of 2015. Had a very high performance evaluation, was 64 years of age so I made the list. So do not think you are safe because of your performance or how good a job you are doing. It's all about money and numbers. You are just a number under the Chuck regime.
I got laid off from Cisco while I was on vacation. Best call I ever got!
