Before the merger of equals both companies were valued very closely, Phillips was given premium to make it happen. With the merger, then acquisition, followed by a spin off, we ended up way more employees than a independent needs or can support. We are now being compelled to lean down where we should be. Some choices will not be right but it will work out in the coming months!

With management not very good at evaluating talent how does the company decide who stays and goes?
Cut the cling ons! They are hard to get rid of but now is not only good time but we need to cut them to survive. Kind of like career politicians!
