Just look at what recently happened in Wyoming. Poor planning from the office and terrible field execution lost us much needed work.

I've said it before, but DDs are a complete joke in the industry. Lots of warm bodies just taking up space. What do they actually do ? Actual competent and worthy hands are few and very far between. I feel sorry if you have to work with DDs on your job.
The short answer is a resounding YES. Need better quality and better performance from directional drillers.
