No no, idiots from leesville, la who really don't do anything in life drill wells pretending like it's soooo hard. They are supervised by Mark "weenie lover" Hildebrand who likes drinking and driving in the field....but hey, that's how eagle ford works.
Nope, shale wells today are drilled using analytics found on your iPhone to select the optimum BHA - can be done in the gym, in the bar or while getting a massage. No need for drilling engineers today ... going the same me way as Petrophysics in the 90's.
